Club of the Year 

Bideford Cricket Club has won the Devon League B Division club of the year award with a fabulous mark of 97.5%. 

The award will be presented at the annual  presentation evening at Exeter Court Hotel on Friday 26th November, 7 for 7.30pm.

Tickets are limited, anyone wishing to attend should contact Chairman Martin Barratt for further details.

Fair Play Award for Sunday 1st XI

In addition, the Sunday 1st XI won the North Devon League Fair Play Award for 2010, an award based on the neutral umpire's marks throughout the season.

Sunday 1st captain Ian Hayter (pictured with the award) said,

'This is a fantastic award and speaks volumes for the way in which the players have conducted themselves throughout the season, both on and off the pitch. This is recognition that we're playing good, positive cricket in the right way.

I believe too that it is a testament to the way in which the club is run - the superb wickets produced by Andy and his team, the immaculate outfield, great teas from the hard-working Jacqui, Vicki and the ladies, and a general all-round fun, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.'
