Winning North Devon KO Cup. Good night at the club with a few jars. Seeing all the youngsters moving into senior cricket from our fantastic colts set up.
Hitting Jonathon Agnew for six in the same season he opened bowling for England, silly thing to do as he was only bowling of a few paces.
Being involved in our club tours to Majorca and Ibiza, seeing everyone have a good time and play some unusual cricket.
Proudest moment in recent years came when i skippered our 2\'s away at top of the table Bradninch with what could be described as an unbalanced side, nine bowlers and two recognised batsmen. I asked in the dressing room before the game if anyone wanted to keep wicket, like a flash John Weeks volunteered and what a great job he did. Bradninch scored 250ish so things weren't looking to good at tea. i looked at Fergie and said would you like to open, "i\'ll give it a go" came the reply, 42 overs later Fergie 111no game over no problem. The character of which those 11 showed on that day provided me with one of the most enjoyable experiences of my cricketing career.

Worst Cricketing Moment(s)/Funny Stories Dropping a catch and i am quite good at it now. Being run out without facing away at United Services after starting work at 4.30am and getting to the ground at 1.55pm and finally getting home at 11.00pm, what a day and i wasn't out, oh well we all get them
Anything Else Best cricketer i ever played in the same team with, Tony Allin Bideford and Glamorgan. Cricketing Hero Vivian Richards,
A message to all the youngsters always enjoy what your doing, cricket is a team sport and if one of your team-mates plays well he's also playing well for you, remember when you do well he will be pleased for you too!
I would like to wish everyone involved with Bideford CC all the best for the future and hope that they have as much fun and enjoyment from the club as i have over the past thirty something years. Good luck to each and everyone of you.
